Graduates inspire over $60K in donations for Truth Be Told

At 9:30 pm on the final night of the $30,000 in 10 Days storytelling campaign, we surpassed our $30,000 goal!

Due to the generosity of 171 donors and an additional $30,000 match from longtime supporters Bobby and Peggy Miser, the $30K in 10 Days campaign generated $60,648 to support the healing programs and safe community Truth Be Told offers justice-involved women in five correctional facilities in Central Texas and out here in the community.

What this proves beyond a doubt is that when our graduates stand in their TRUTH, they inspire a community to RISE.

It was in a Truth Be Told classroom that these 10 graduates first embarked on a healing journey that set them on a path to becoming the women they are today. Your support will ensure those classrooms and safe community continue to be available for the women coming up behind them — and there are many.

If you missed the opportunity to read all 10 graduate interviews, you can still access them by visiting our blog.

On behalf of Lisa, Brandi, Cara, Leslie, Sandra, Colette, Donna, Kay, Melissa and Nikki — thank you for showing our graduates that their voices have been heard.
